I’m Natasha and I’m currently a freshman biomedical engineer at UT Dallas.

I personally identify as gay.

No one would ever deny Picasso the right to call himself an artist, because that’s who he was. In the same aspect, someone’s identity is who they are. It’s a part of them. They should be allowed to identify according to who they see themselves as. That’s why my identity is important to me. It’s my choice in defining who I am.

I use to have hair down to my chest and I could never figure out why I felt weird. Ever since I cut it all off, I’ve gained a new sense of confidence because I finally started being who I am. If you get anything from this, just be who you want to be in life and not what others want you to be. The confidence you gain from that isn't something you can ever recreate.
